Clutch engagement clunk Not sure what the problem is, I have had reverse on all my sleds for the last 10 years, all Yamaha's and never had this one time. Not acceptable in my mind on a sled that retails for $12,000.

Clutch Yes, exactly. My dealer told me the same thing about locking up the brakes, tried it and yes this will cause it for sure. Normal seems not so normal, I have had many Yamaha's and this is the first one that does this.

The wife put 200 miles on the LTX this weekend, she loves it. With the EPS the 136 is certainly the way to go. It tracks nice and she has no issue turning. I drove it some and must say it is very nice, nice power too. Only one issue, the clutches don't down shift all the way sometimes. When...

Re: do yourself a favor I have a feeling you might be right, should be a great riding trail sled. From what I read when they ran the Vector LTX against the Apex side by side they ran out of room and they were still even. You know I got to ride it. :o|

LTX Made the deal on a 2012 LTX, picking it up tomorrow. I think the wife should love it. Struggled with waiting for a 2013 model spring specials but got some good snow so decided to buy now and ride now. Hope I don't kick myself for this one, might of got free 3 or 4 year warranty instead...

LTX or shorty 121 I was leaning toward the LTX and now with the extra input its going to be LTX for sure, might also explain why I have like 6 121's available and only a couple of LTX's. Thanks for the imput, anyone have a 2012 LTX that wants to add more comments?

Adding the EPS Thats what I am thinking, the EPS might change the long track handling. My wife didn't like the long track Apex as well.

Limiter strap Let us know after you try it with another hole up. I assume it was full length when you got it like mine. Sounds like I need to go at least one up for sure.

Well I hate to say it but this standard 2011 128" handles terrible. It pushes in the corners badly. Where do I start with the adjustments? Limiter strap is full length, didn't touch a thing yet. 6" deuce bars, darting not bad but just pushes in corners, needs more ski pressure in my opinion...

Re: OP-LO Follow up on this OP-LO, put 150 more miles on the last 2 days and no issues. Hope it never shows up again. Great sled, wife loves the power steering and I agree you can turn it with finger tips but best to have a good hold cause the mid-range pull is exciting.

OP-LO Yes it does mean oil pressure low. I do see it on every start for a few seconds but on this particular start it stayed on and limited the RPM's below clutch engagement speed, obviously it protects itself.

5 miles to gas station. Put gas in and on the start got OP LOW message, no caution light. Would not get to clutch engagement speed to even move from pump. Shut it down and called my dealer. He suggested checking cannon plugs, re-did a bunch on the left side. Started it up and all is good...

Carbides I am going to try 6" Double Downs, if I am not happy with them I will put 6" Shapers on.
