I'm only running 8 lbs of boost so I only need a octane ratting of 95. Up in Alaska the highest octane we can get at the pump is 90 unless you buy 100LL av gas. So when I fill up my tank it is anywhere from 5-6 gallons. Torco's chart say to add 8-9.6 oz to make 95. I just dump in 10.5 oz to...
I agree with the list above. I would add to the list -
Skinz air frame running boards.
Headlight delete kit and put on small lightweight L.E.D.s.
Remove all the foam on your plastic panels. Foam soaks up water and becomes very heavy once wet.
And since you have to extend the tunnel I would...
Hand warmers suck. But that can easily be fixed with a kit. And the stock mtx skis suck for handling and flotation. In my opinion the maverick track sucks. Alot of people will agree on here that changing it to a CE, Ascent/Peak, or a Power-Claw will make a huge improvment and you will need that...
That's why you are pay less. I'm getting 100 unleaded you are getting leaded av gas. The unleaded comes in its own sealed can because they sell very little. Alot of people by av gas so they buy it in bulk and store it in a big tank and pump it out to customer tanks. That's why you are paying...
Yea I'm thinking of giving it a try. Now I just have to find some body in town who sells it. I have been reading nothing but good reviews on it and it is a butt load cheaper than race gas.
You must have a discounted account. I just picked up 10 gallons of 100 octane From sourdough bulk plant and my receipt says $154.30. That was back in January when fuel was a bit cheaper.
I'm looking for a cheaper route for high octane gas. I'm running 7lbs of boost at 500-3000 feet above sea level. So I need 95-100 octane gas.
For the people out that are running boost what kind of fuel are you using. I have read alot about people using torco octane booster rather than running...
$1300 per year :o| :o| :o| for full coverage on a 2010 nytro mtx 162 thru USAA/Progressive. I have a clean driving record. I think it is high because Im 19 and the sled is boosted/modded. My dads sled is a 2011 nytro and cost him $350 a year for full coverage threw the same company.
I agree with luckydawkak. Lots of snow in alaska.
I think northwest Canada and Alaska are the only places left with good deep snow left. Still in the below zeros here in Fairbanks. Probably will be still ridding till the end of April.
Just finished installing skinz air frame running boards on my nytro mtx. Got about 2.5 feet in Fairbanks and 5 times more in the mountains. Just waiting for it to warm up it's about -15 here. Still got arctic man in April. Will probably Still be ridding till mid April to the beginning of may...
Well today I was looking I over my ascent track and found that 3 of my paddles are starting to rip. I only have 150 miles on it. WTF at this rate I'm gona need a new track every 1000 miles. :o| If this keeps up I might look at the new artic cat power claw 2.6. Back when I owned a cat I had over...
