I finally got it all together and am ready to reveal the redneck RX......

You may already know but I am almost certain that the factory bowls are no longer available so you will have to buy used bowls or go aftermarket nuts as suggested in the previous posts. Unless you get lucky, dealer won't be an option.

run a google search for Hope Valley at Highway 88. also search for Castle Peak and Little Truckee Summit. If you search over on Snowest for the posts of a guy called "Silvertip" he is the man you want to try and hook up with. He seems to ride every day and knows every inch of the area.

search for the $6500 mountain animal thread by Kachess for many great ideas. Main thing is you need to be more open-minded if you want to seriously lighten up the beast. If you poo poo some of the ingenuity that people here have used you will just be limiting the fun of putting these things...

I use John Deere part H33333 - new part number A-48107. Cheap and indestructible, I have backed over them many times and are about $3 each. I have them on my skis and they spray like crazy. Try searching for the words "Deere" or "thresher" or maybe "tines" and maybe you will find the post...
