I run the 12mm with C&A Razor skis and find this setup to work very well. I do some aggresive trail riding, but no racing. Still get inside ski lift, but the tippyness is gone and the front still follows the rough stuff well. Note this is on an Apex, not Attak
A couple more items came in recently. I recieved my airbox from Ulmer on Saturday. Today Santa came early, and in a big brown truck. He delivered this little shiny accessory :-o
I run Ulmer's stage II with a 23t top gaer, what he now calls his stage III. If you are going to clutch kit it, you really should be putting in studs, in my opinion. Not going to do much if you can't get it hooked up. I have not tried any other kit, but I am so pleased with this setup that I...
You must be talking about the place on Lapeer, which I will leave unnamed. Only had mine in there once to do some warrenty work, but have ordered quite a few parts through them and never had a problem.
If you go to Yamaha's site, they have a dealer locater, looks the the closest is on Gratiot...
Will try to get a report on the shock as soon as I can, but work has been crazy so it might be a few weeks. Working lots of hours so I have the extra money for some nice mods this year, but it kind of kills the ride time.
Just a side note. The mods I did last year turned out really well. I am...
Got the front KYBs to run nice on my Apex. I could never get the rear dialed in to where I like it, but instead of changing it I got it redone with a dual rate spring setup, just haven't tried it out yet.
Had the same problem on my '06 Er last year. As I was out on the trail I didn't have the linkage adjustment procedure with me. I just didn't put it in reverse anymore. When I got back to the trailer for the night I just started adjusting up the loosest linkages a little at a time until it would...
I am glad to see someone here has done this upgrade and likes it. I have never done buisness with Hygear, how are they to work with? Do they have good turn around times? I am trying to determine if I should get my rear shock worked on now, or if I should just wait till this season is over.
I went with a 12mm bar, C&A Razors, and 7.5" shaper bars. Set the front springs to what was recommended for the 12mm bar by Pioneer. No complaints, much better then stock. Still has ski lift, but dosn't get tippy like stock, and it really grabs the corners.
