I was talking to the dealer and he thinks its the F/R solenoid and spring is not strong enough as the 2008 were made with the stronger ones along with the upgraded ecu .$300 part !

ok I will check those things out ,this did not occur till right after the ecu was changed though

Ok got back from NB 800km trip almost 10k on sled now ,had a SC84 while driving and lost power both times let it idle and it went away replaced the throttle limiter switch unit (with the kill switch) and that solved the SC84 . But did not affect the reverse issue , unless I hold the throttle...

I use this tote from Canadian Tire fits perfect and is lockable to hold all that stuff

yes I tried that finally pulled it backwards off the trailer , dam heavy and tried different things with that solution , wonder if it could be something in the throttle switch ? other than that this sled rides like a different machine from when I first got it , Thanks for all your suggestions !

Ok just had the cold weather start kit put in and got it back home on the trailer and bang no reverse nothing ,researched on here and found that when I hold the throttle wide open and turn key on then release and start no problems ! What is the issue and solution ? Heading to North bay this week...

After doing the tunnel modification and new skis and flotation plates it will feel like a diff sled (no ice build up and great floatation ) I've studded mine also you will need tunnel protection but that is eliminated once you put in the false tunnel (dual exhaust !).Mine is a 07

Also do the nitro mod of 2mm off the upper A arm knuckle works great !

Great thanks ! The smell will go away after 100km .I also used a similar heat shield for the interior of the tunnel any performance shop has it . ( http://www.thermotec.com/products/14600-suppressor-acoustical-heat-control-mat.html ) A real nice sled to ride now with all the modifications ...

yes I have done the 2.5mm off the ball joint with great success ! shortened the limiter strap and Nytro powder skies with Bergstorm carbides (shimmed ski)corners like on rail road tacks !

I took off the plastic "do-hickey" but I'm going to put a piece back on to cover the gap as I am getting snow build up through there. Hopefully that will work!

Yes my 07 has had the green light flicker once in a while also ! It has 8500km on it , only difference was it was cold about -20 Any solutions / causes ?
