Apex cam chain tensioner is on front of motor so much easier on an a 4 cylinder. On a 3 cylinder the tensioner is backside against the front heat exchanger.
Unless I am missing something obvious i dont think it is at all possible to get a shim out of the sleds with out pulling cams. Must be a different design concept honda uses.
Adjusting valves is not hard, but it's quite labor intensive since the chain tensioner is not easily accessible. Turboflash put a bug in my ear about trying to develop a solution which potentially eliminates the need to access chain tensioner. With Yamaha's exit, the existing sleds will...
08-14 fx nytro and fuel injected 1049 vector from 10-17 are same. The older 973 vector are different as are the apex.
I have good used ones. I have caps to plug end and i fill will water to verify no cracks
Extroverts were std on apex starting in 2010. 2009 is when the apex got the beefier 30mm axle. If you ordered the 09 sprockets they will fit your 11 shaft.
Have you actually gone into diagnostics to read codes? I always go into diagnostics and read all the stored codes. Stored codes do not always display on dash. Once you have written down all the codes, clear them and see what comes back.
Lets see... list price of that header is now an insane $5600...25% of that divided by 4 puts each flange at around $350! lol.
I'm thinking the flanges will retail for around $90 each.
Been working on repair flanges for the 11-18 headers. These are made of SS and fit inside the header once you cut the old flange off. These are an interference fit and can be tapped in with a mallet. I opted to install on ID of pipe to minimize chance of leak. Once header is bolted in and the...
I personally still like the semi aggressive best on all single keel skis. If you get a little bit of push with some aggressives you better be ready when the bite again. The semi are more forgiving.
Noticed the trail conditions you mentioned. Keep in mind if there is not enough snow for correctors to make contact, the sled will still dart as it is essentially no different than a single runner. This is even more amplified on aggressivies as the center runner is taller.
