I put the Schmidt bros block off on and it reduced the ice build up significantly.

I went down to 19 teeth based on Schmidt bros recommendation. I love it. I put extrovert drivers on and did not touch the rails. No issues.

I have the comfort kit and it didn't impact my top end at all.

I went from 21 tooth to 19 tooth when I switched to the backcountry track. I lost around 5 mph on the top end. In theory I gained back the bottom end after putting on a heavier track.

Did you have any other damage than the chain case? Thinking back I think I torqued the bolt prior to putting the skid back in. If I remember right I had trouble preventing the drive shaft from turning when I tried to tighten the bolt. I will chase the thread with a tap and then use some...

Spoke to a service guy at the dealer today. He said he can have it welded for me. Drop it off one day, pick it up the next. I ordered a new bolt, circlip and bearing (in case the existing one is damaged). I should be back up and running by the weekend. Thank you Winnipeg Sport and Leisure!

What parts did you end up having to replace? I know I installed the snap ring. I can see it partially hanging out. Hopefully the parts will be available.

I went to take out my battery because it was shot and saw this. The bolt from the end of the drive shaft has punched or worn through the crank case cover. I changed my track this fall. I thought I put everything back properly and torqued it properly. Any ideas on what could have caused this...
