Fighting with this seal leaking. New seal and oring factory parts (new bearings as well which is how this all started). I assume the collar with the set screw is used to press the oring against the inner bearing race to seal that part... After a 30 minute ride the seal is trying to walk out and...
i would gladly pay and extra $1000 for yamaha to have a chromoly sub frame and high end ball joints... Yamaha needs to do better....

i noticed you didnt mention a word about the center shock... it sounds to me like it is pushing the front of the sled off the ground, you say you cant go below 85psi on the floats and the front rolls a lot when you turn and pushes a...

it would be a great idea to get a service manual so you have all the info and step by step directions with torque specs...
also if you dont have a clutch puller you will need one which ulmer should be able to send you with your clutch kit...

theres no doubt its the clutching... i can see how you are used to dirt bikes with manual clutches/tranny/chain drive... obviously you can mod a bike and not touch the clutching and your mods will give the proper results at the rear wheel...
sleds with the CVT are a different animal...
