I continued riding for the rest of the weekend 500+ km. Same syptons continued, although it seemed to get a bit harder to start.
I took apart the sled this evening to find the problem and sure enough the glue let go on one of the sensors that I glued together....
Guess it's time to get two...
Hi everyone,
I experienced a few small issues with my sled today, although she still runs fine with regular performance. I rode the rest of the day and I'm wondering if I should be OK to continues for the next 2 days. I think I should be fine. If anyone has any thoughts on these issues noted...
I experienced the same pops/back fire with my sled today, after code 14: Intake air pressure sensor malfunction came up.
Did you get your problem sorted out was it the sensor?
Mine will also ideled really low occasionaly 1400, etc. A few times it dipped below 1300 and then it died. Has...
Hi all,
Got my phazer hauled apart for some maintenance and can't get the oil filter off. I have the front frame removed so I have good access. Both of my local hardware stores were sold out of filter wrenches that would fit it. I've already tried the hose clamp/screwdriver/hammer technique...
My sled won't start. I have checked the relay/solenoid and it is not the problem (been there, done that last year).
The other day, it started normally in the morning, but the next time I started the sled, it was weak cranking and just barely started. This continued ofr 2 or 3 starts until the...
As recommended, I usually burn supreme gas in my phazer. However on the weekend, only regular gas was available so I had to use that.
I did notice a small difference in power(only on the top end), but I had somewhat lower gas mileage, roughly 10% lower than I've gotten in the past in similar...
The cold start update reprograms the computer I believe, and maybe changes a part or two, but all I know is that it starts a hell of a lot easier now. While I never had the problem of it not starting in temps that were too cold, like many others were, it would take almost 10 or 12 seconds of...
As you can see in this picture ahead of the battery there is a fuseblock and ahead of that you can see where the red lead from the battery goes. It connects to another terminal for the starter solenoid. The solenoid terminals are under rubber caps, similar to the one found on the battery...
I will get a picture tomorrow or the next day for you 200smk.
But if you follow the positive (red) wire from the battery,(take off the right side cover), you will see where it connects to a terminal which is up next to the fuse block. There are 2 terminals side be side with rubber flaps on...
I just got back from a trip and I can't start my phazer to get it out of my truck.
When I turn the key the screen lights up and the fuel pump kicks in but the starter won't engage or even click.
Does anyone have any ideas???
I was in powder yesterday and I had to leave it outside last...
Well I got my question answered.
I had my sled in today to get the cold start and steering updates done and they also did the shim for the reverse and replaced my old belt the 8GS with the new 8GK. They told me it was a bit different but never said how.
