As you can see in this picture ahead of the battery there is a fuseblock and ahead of that you can see where the red lead from the battery goes. It connects to another terminal for the starter solenoid. The solenoid terminals are under rubber caps, similar to the one found on the battery...

Well I got my question answered. I had my sled in today to get the cold start and steering updates done and they also did the shim for the reverse and replaced my old belt the 8GS with the new 8GK. They told me it was a bit different but never said how.

Yeah mine bent too. I wonder if plugging the hollow tube solid with something that will cure hard and rigid would fix the problem. JP
