The sled has not been on its side since properly running so I would assume the Air Oil Separator box was frozen? As far as the cylinders, I will have to verify if it was gas or oil in the cylinders but it was locked.
The plot thickens...
We went to take off the air filter that sits above the clutch guard and Oil started pouring out. Did a seal let loose? Any thoughts?
All 3 cylinders had fuel locking it up which makes me want to rule out injector issues. We pulled the first two plugs and rotated the motor. Fuel poored out and then it locked back up because the pto cylinder still had the plug in it. We then took that plug out and the fuel poored out of that...
We have a SR Viper in our group with a MPI trail turbo. It ran great all weekend long. When we finished trailering it home to put it away, we started it up and it idled for 15 seconds and then died. When it died, it sounded as though a liquid started sloshing/filling somewhere but no leak on the...
Haha, yeah it just doesnt make any sense to me. It is a supercharger with a cold air intake over the clutch gaurd. I am wondering if one of my boost reference lines for the fpr, gems, or koso gauge is getting kinked by the hood and if that would change these numbers
I went up for the first time this year thinking I had cured my fuel issues from last year with a new inline pump and FPR. After taking it out at 8.5 psi, I am still seeing 12.7-13 AFR at WOT. I then went to adjust my blow off valve and kept the hood off during testing. I took it out and started...
Havent fired it up or run it for the season yet but this is the method hurricane suggested. The grommet is a very tight fit and then it gets pushed outward by the elbow running through it.
I ended up running a line from the fpr back down the gas tank to the white stock fuel pump housing. Drilled a hole in the white housing and attached an elbow with a rubber grommet.
I really appreciate the write up and links. As far as the rail and gas tank attachment, where is everyone finding these items? I have called MPI and they do not have any in stock and have no intentions of producing more. Let me know, Thanks
Seeing as the MPI fuel pump and regulator upgrade is no longer available (been out of stock for years), I really need some help on getting more fuel to my boosted Nytro. I am running ~7.5 lbs boost and my stock fuel pump with the GEM's cranked all the way up cannot keep up (13+ AFR for 2 second...
