So...due to a series of unfortunate events my plastic intake box (air silencer) has shattered. I will unfortunately need both the bottom and top piece for my 2008 Yamaha Vector LTX. It seems every online place will need to order it from Japan which will take 4-6 weeks. Does anyone know where...
The northeast is screwed. The current state of the jet stream is shooting warm air up from deep the south. As I'm typing this its reading 62* here in CT. My only hope is the cold air holds around MA and North since I ride in Maine. HOLD THE LINE, COLD, HOLD THE LINE! Lol
I just got the MTX's, so when mother nature blesses us with snow I'll let you know. I haven't pulled the trigger. It's probably going to be a late November, early December purchase as the skis and Bergstrom skegs set me back a few.
Might be a possibility. I've found it hard to find info on big lug tracks with these vectors, but if you search for info regarding the same year Apex in google, you usually get a good amount of info. I'm sticking with the 1.6 ice cobra since I know it will work. Can't wait to see how it works...
Sweet, might buy that 1.6 track then. I figure $600 for a new track is worth the added insurance of me not getting my sled buried with the ripsaw at the first hint of powder. After last winter my back can't take anymore. LOL!
I was looking into this as well for my 08 vector ltx. The ice cobra got great reviews in both the 1.3 and 1.6. I was hoping the 1.6 would fit without modification. Found a good deal on one through Google shopping. I believe our p/n would be 9314C
Where do you live/ride? I ride in the Lewiston area out to Turner, Sabattus, etc. The trails are always bumpy and the 136 track goes over them nice. If you ride up north in rangley it's not a big deal, but down by lewiston the trails always become crap in short order.

Solid deal. They would easily take 5.5 OTD for it.

Wasn't getting a lot of traction on the RS sub section so I figured I would post here.
I'm looking for the 7.5" ski skins for my '08 Vector LTX. I see Yamaha offers them for the 09 and up Apex, but can't find them for the '08 Vector. Does anyone know where I can find them or if the Apex version...

These, so if you click they only have them for the 2009 apex ltx. Does the 09 Apex use the same ski as the same 2008 RS Vector LTX?
I'm looking for the 7.5" ski skins for my '08 Vector LTX. I see Yamaha offers them for the 09 and up, but can't find them for the '08. Does anyone know where I can find them? Looking for a little bit better flotation in the front.
Thanks.
