FYI my dealer said that yamaha is putting a lower ball joint bulletin out this week. my dealer put the new lower ball joints on my sled yesterday. my ball joints only had 300 miles on them but they replaced them anyways even though they were not shot yet.

does anyone check the engine oil pressure after? the service manual says to loosen a bolt to see if oil comes out or not, but i could not find it for the fife of me. the owners manual doesnt say anything about it but the service manual does.

asweet must not be very technical, or he must work at a ford garage where thay follow everything by textbook lol i bought a WIX filter 53158 which is alittle longer. you can not use a filter wrench because it is longer though. instead, i used a piece of rubber that is used for opening jars...

i thought i read a post on here about k&n oil filters i could use on my nytro? my yamaha dealer is closed today and i need to know if i can use a aftermarket oil filter, and what number? thanks

my buddie seems to think his new xp800r will beat my nytro in a 1000 foot race. Has anyone ran against an xp800 yet? what was the outcome?

thast good to hear about the skis. did your skis help with faster cornering ? thats my biggest complaint.
