I hit a rock on the yamaha skid plate pretty hard and I know now It definately takes a pretty good hit to bend them. Don't get me wrong the sled is still drivable and the only reason I am bending it back is I am a little anal about my stuff. it has to look good before I ride it. I rode 700 miles...
Where did you put the pry bar?? I hit a rock under the snow a few weeks ago and now I believe my subframe is bent? The left shock spring is only about 1/4 inch from the rear of the top A arm? Up till this miss hap my shocks were dean on ctr. I have 4000+ miles on the girl. Also how much is a new...
I see your riser is blue what other colors are these offered in? I really would like to keep the stock cap on. I just like the finished look. What is the price on these in different heights?
I am 6ft tall and have an FX Nytro. Right now I have the stock riser on it. When standing I don't have any bend in my arms. I believe if I added a riser I would have better control of the sled. what would you recomend? :dunno: I was thinking about a rox riser??
thanks for the help. I know my bud with a 1200 poo brought his throttle to zero and it seemed to help. For right now I still have him in a drag race from start to finish. he is installing a pro-line clutch soon??? My clutching is still stock. I still haven't seen a clutch kit that is doing much...
Should there be any free play on the throttle? I know there is some play @ the pivot point of the throttle. I was wondering if I should zero out the cable side of the throttle. Basically I just want to see if I remove the 1/8" of play will help @ WOT?
agreed!!! Too many pics! I have an 08 shorty fx Nytro and was pulling better numbers then the 3 XTX's @ an Ice Drag in southern Maine. 101 on the gun. In 1000" with a ton of spin for the 1st 400 - 500 ft. All of us were studded and I have to have the worst stud pattern of them all. 96 pics down...
It is a little bit of a process. remove seat, tank, then remove the heat shield closest to the motor 3 bolts. You will see the 3 clamps there. Then remove the clamps (dealer told me to take a pair of vice grips and remove the spacer so you get extra clamping pressure there is just one tack weld...
They put a spacer on the clamps so you can't tighten them too much. My dealer said remove the spacer and you will not have this problem. Are you thinking of changing brands just because you had a wiring issue with your wifes sled? I know this will leave you with a sour taste in you mouth, but I...
When mine was warm the rattle was louder. Just get rid of the spacer on the clamp then you can tighten the clamps so you will not have this issue. 600 mles this weekend and no rattling after I fixed it. Just your normal Yamaha clutch noise.
