Definately check the choke. The cables on these sleds were known for sticking. Should be on the brake side of the carb bank. Attempt to manually turn off choke.

My brother is considering a XTX. He had an Apex GT and then switched to a Venture 2-up. The two up didn't work for him and his wife. Too tippy when opened up. She can't drive her own. My question is does anyone have all the extra wind protection available for the Nytro and if so, how cold...

Believe it or not, the Mod 2 has a piece like this that is very similar. It has magnets that attach it to the underneath of the helmet when it is in place. I think they must have done this to prevent the cold air coming in like you did.

Do you have a rear bag for the Attak/LTX that would fit on the aluminum plate behind the seat or one that would sit on the back of the seat?

I just went with my buddy and picked up his '08 Apex LTX on Saturday at Highland's Yamaha in Countryside. They said it was the second 08 that they had delivered.
