My Phazer MTX came from the factory with the low (cold) windshield. I'm doing a lot of longer rides in sub zero weather and need more wind protection. Do the 18"and 21" windshields fit the factory bracket?
Also, has anybody had experience with the high windshield. Particularly, is the upper...
I'm looking at putting some auxiliary lighting on my MTX. Does anybody know how much "extra" power I have to work with before overloading the stator? I'm only looking at around 30-55watts.
My MTX does that as well. I'm pretty sure it is the secondary not responding/backshifting fast enough. The secondary needs to be turning to slide the belt back to the outside. Jamming on the brakes locks up the secondary and keeps it shifted out. So now when you get back on the throttle the...
I rather have the WHOLE track trying to climb onto the top of the snow than just the front foot. Approach angle can be equated to having a bigger tire. Bigger tires have a shallower approach angle and roll down the road easier.
Pulling it up puts the of contact further back along the skid...
Set 3rd hole for off trail, 4th for on trail. 3rd hole on trail I feel there is too much steering effort and the front shock bottoms more due to reduced travel.
First off, ride the sled. There is no way to accurately judge stiffness in the garage. Springs carry the weight, shocks provide the dampening to high speed and low speed bumps.
Shortening the limiter reduces the amount of available travel on the center shock so leaving it loose lets the...
I have noticed that mine does that as well. I just determined/assumed it was that once I stopped, the heat from the engine heat soaked the intake air temp sensor causing it to read a higher temp and therefore not give enough fuel to want to start. I remedy by giving it throttle while starting...
That is the XU platform, I believe it is the same as the skandic, also on the expeditions and tundra I believe. As an accessory for the summits you can put on a whole new set of rails with articulating assembly built in. It looks like any tail landing would be brutal on the suspension.
