Installed the centre and rear shocks from Rock Suspension; first little ride today and they felt good. Will experiment with pre-load on the centre but so far so good.
Copy copy.
Ohlins Canada (Fast Company Suspension) replied that they do not get any snowmobile items; "As far as I'm aware no one is importing it into North America". I contacted the parent company in Sweden as well but no reply as of yet.
Copy that, I checked and unfortunately both the centre and rear shock part #'s change between 2015 and 2016.
I contacted Ohlins Canada to see if they could fabricate something that fits; shall see.
Does anyone have experience with Ohlins shocks on a VK? I see they offer a rear shock for the VK for models up to 2015. Do you think it would fit on a 2016 VK Pro II?

Thanks!
I shimmed the ski bumpers at the recommendation of my dealer; followed the instructions of Bergstrom Skegs and others on YouTube. Shims are ~1/4" thick pieces of leftover hyfax. Went for a short ride after installing and they seem to have improved the handling noticeably.
Had the machine apart and believe the issue is #13; upper steering bearing (picture attached).
With the machine parked on a cement floor the handle bars can be moved slightly without the skis moving on the floor. The play seems to stop at #13; after that there is minimal movement down at #35...
Great, thanks Mooseman. I'll disregard the kit and check out the bushings and linkages. It was also recommended to inspect the tie rod ends for wear/loose nuts.
Howdy,
Has anyone experienced and addressed excess play in the steering column; loose/sloppy steering? Wondering if the Heavy-Duty Steering Bearing Kit designed for the Phazer would work in a VK Po II:

When the mounting bracket is slid along the rail lip the wheel makes contact with the track exactly below the existing hole in the rail.
