I spent 70$ doing agreed, stupid fixes that shouldn need done, but it was literally 70$, have beat the crap out of that pro cross at 290hp and it’s been rock solid. Dealer replaced top gear end of last year on year end check up, who cares, 4 years warranty. 2 simple fixes and a 290hp trail sled...
That’s too bad. You sold a hell of a machine over 70$ wort of fixes. Yes it’s stupid to have to do. I agree. I had my dealer do all the fixes for me during the PDI of my 20 ltx le. I’ve had zero issues with the sled and it’s 290HP! Let’s see any other sled out there compare. I’ll wait....
I should also add this was on ice, the 900t had 196 chisels with his 13 year old son on it. I just had my 144 triggers up the middle, full trail set up with me on board at 300+ lbs with a suit/helmet
What is stage 3 ? I ran a riot tuned 900T last year. They will come off the line first but have nothin for a tuned winder in 660’. He gaped me by 2 off the line and I had him by 2 at 660 and pulling away, hard. They don’t have the HP
I’ve had the triggers in since last year. I’m just putting the chisels in the out side to run the drag strip on ice. Looking for more traction just there. Will remove them afterwards. All the big sleds there are chiseled up and triggers can’t dig with em on ice.
Currently running 144, 1.630 triggers up the middle. All on double backers 4-2 pattern. I’ve got 96 chisels on the way to put in the outside of the track and a few extras for here and there in the track where there are only 2 studs on the bar. Question is: guys studding the out side do you try...
Tried all summer and fall to get a set. Still not available as a part now in mid January. Pulled the trigger in October on the C&A’s so that’s what I’ve got to work with. I don’t have endless amounts of money. I will try a different runner if the 7.5’s don’t do what I’m looking for. I’ve had...
Depends where you want rpm change the most. For max rpm, tip weight, mid range, mid and bottom is base of the weight. I ground my dtay1 all from middle to end. Keeping a close eye on the profile to keep them close to the same. Weigh them on a good digital scale.
Only gripe I have with my ‘20 LE after 3610 trouble free miles, 3160 of them at 290hp with uncountable amount of race passes at the local Sunday funday, is the handling of this sled in loose snow or fresh powder. Never drove a pre ‘20 winder so I can’t speak to rather or not it turns better then...
