I changed the ecu, and that fixed it. Put a couple hours of ride time on it and now it's #2 cyl. That has no fire. I put a used ecu on it, so now I'm going to try a new one.

I opened it up and looked, didn't see anything. As I said I tried splicing in before the plug and using two female spade connectors to power the coil pack. Still nothing. Thanks though!

It was running fine, then just dropped a cylinder like something burned out. I'm wondering if the ECM lost the ground cycle on the signal wire. Not sure how to test for that though. Other than swap ECM.

Yes. I even found a couple female spade connectors and put them on the coil, then spliced into the bare wire before the plug.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I have an RS Venture that burned an exhaust valve. Can I just put a new valve in and go again?

New unit. I checked the sensor and it was just barely hanging on the chaincase. Reglued it and it is working well now.

My Sr Venure 2018 had a moisture leak in the gauge pod and it kept cycling the backlight and killing the battery. I had the cover off for another issue and noticed it when I closed the garage door. I changed the gauge and no more dead battery, but the Speedo won't work now.

I replaced the cluster and now it doesn't show the speed. When I put the old one back in it shows it. Half of the old cluster is dead, but the part that works shows it. Everything else on the new one works, altitude, coolant temp, fuel level. It also registered the total hours.
