If you were cautious about you o-ring then you prolly overfilled it! Dealer did it to mine when I let them do the first service!! :o| No harm at all just makes a mess!! Siphoned some out with a syringe and took airbox apart and cleaned it up and cleaned front of the motor and the belly pan...
Curious as to why you wouldn't have replaced this before! There are lots of threads on this! Not saying this to be an #*$&@ at all either. Relays are cheap & I always carry a couple of spare ones in my pack at all times! WAY to simple a fix to not be ready for! Anyway, glad you got it sorted out...
Really, really enjoy my XTX! Of all the sleds I've ridden in my life this one is by FAR the most fun! Love the ergonomics of the sled & the engine is just totally out of this world! Blip the throttle & it squirts over the smallest of bumps! So torquey....pulls like a bat out of hell!! There...
I let the dealer do my first oil change as well just so it could go down in their record books. Figured it was a safe guard against refusing me warranty in case something should happen and they blame me for doing something wrong. Needless to say the dealer overfilled my oil too. Puked a bunch...
I don't think we'll see 4 strokes getting too much lighter. The engines are heavy by nature. Much more complex than a 2 stroke as everybody knows. The chassis is about the only place they can go to make it lighter. Personally I'd rather have a a little stronger chassis! Weight reduction is...
Wasn't raggin' on you eight, just kind of get tired of hearing guys complain about everything. I realize that these sleds aren't perfect. All in all, Blue owners have it pretty good considering. Not a fanboy opinion @ all either. My one brother is on his 3rd engine on his Assault in a season...
It will never be good enough for most people! No matter what Yammi would bring out people will always be b*#&$^%g! Why not wait until official release day to see what all of the features are that are offered. Watch the video clip from Supertrax Magaizne(SnowTrax TV) and see what they had to...
I believe it's in your owners manual. I don't have mine by me right now but I know it's very simple. I did mine last year, I switched mine from km/h to mp/h & it was a piece of cake! Sorry I couldn't help you more right now!
Not posting this to be a jerk at all but seriously people, do a simple search! This topic has been covered SO often already! There's lots of info on this! More than likely your level is too high & puking into the airbox. Clean airbox, mop up, siphon some oil out of the tank with a syringe &...
Yes, Yamahas are hard on slides but 90 miles & then 40 miles on a set?! Something is definitely not right! Take the sled in & have them check over your skid if you figure you've tried what you can. I have 750 miles on this set & still have almost half left!
I always carry a few spare relays as well as a starter relay in my pack. Had it happen one time last year where I had to cycle the key 3 times to get it to start! Relays are cheap, I recommend everyone carry some extras!!
