Well I think I have to unfortunately cancel the ride due to snow conditions. We have some trails open but they just aren't worth everyone's time and we'd be limited to how many trails we can even ride on.
Sorry my friends but mother nature wasn't on our side this year.
Not looking good my friends. We have a few snow showers in the forecast but if we don't get 6-12 inches in the next week it won't be worth everyone's time.
They have opened some trails around here but reports are they are poor at best. I'll let you know in a week if it's worth booking a room.
We have some snow in the forecast but it doesn't sound like a boat load yet.
You should be able to book rooms tomorrow if you want. I have to call back the hotel again... after work tonight but then it should be set.
Tell your friends so we can get a crew!
We had 20 plus last year.
We can all pray for snow and hope we can put together another ride this year.
We'll plan on meeting Saturday morning Feb. 21st at the hotel around 9:30 and leave at 10.
We might switch up the route a little this year but it all depends on snow conditions.
I haven't set up the group discount with...
I love my 509 helmet and goggles. I have sinisters and aviators for goggles. Both are excellent. I've only had problems with fog when it's below zero and I wore a super thick balaclava. I since used a little thinner balaclava and haven't had an issue being cold or fogging. The weight of the...
I know this is kind of old but if you can't find anyone to to make you a new header, my cousin and I made one for a Nypex. If you have your old cracked header, we could use that as a template and make you a 4-1. We'd just have to talk through exactly what you're looking for in a final product.
I haven't been on here lately so I figured I'd check out the new site.
First thing first, last ride of last year I snapped one of my MTX front shocks in half. The actual shock shaft 1/4" up from the lower ring mount. Now what the hell should I do? 70% of the time I trail ride, so should I...
I've never really heard of that issue as you talk. I would bet when you tipped it oil ran into the air box and that gummed something up. After running it for a while it all burnt out and all is well. If you have more problems, then it is obviously something different.
I say oil ran into your...
Here is the sled in some videos you can see in action from this past weekend. Sled ran pretty good.
Temps are in the 40s here now though. :(

If your engine is decompressed with a head shim then you'll be fine at any elevation. I won't go a decimal over 6 with a stock nytro unless you're riding at 7000 ft or beyond. Based on the boostcalculator, for the nytro with stock motor (no decompression at 9 psi) here is the octane per...
Just an update. On the TY Ride this weekend I actually looked at how many miles I put on... 2400 miles on the cut track and not a lug missing and very very few starting to bend. This is running 5 psi boost now on very hard trails. It seams to make a difference!
I have my BOV right in my intake plenum. I don't run an intercooler because i'm only building 6lbs of boost. See the attached photo with it circled in red.
EDIT: My BOV is not open at idle and neither should yours. That's especially strange because at idle there should be vacuum in your...
I have a few more pictures. First is the charge tube in the tunnel with the header wrap. Second is looking down from where the gas tank sits, and final is completely assembled. I added more aluminum tape and some aluminum sheet metal in addition to what I had before for heat shielding.
We'll probably be going up trail #13 "County B Trail" into Cataract. Then Trail #11 over to intersection #3. Then north on #27 to the intersection that split to go to warrens or Milston.
I used to be able to when I lived a little ways away. I would ride my SRX too and from. It was actually faster to drive my Snowmobile to work than my truck. Only thing is that doesn't count getting dressed, undressed, and warm up time. I would do it now but I live 5 minutes from work in town...
