Just go to an exhaust place and have them cut you one from a U pipe. Then polish it up! Thats all i did and it was free!

Here's what I did. Kolpin pack (5.6 litres) with the mount. The turn out was cut at a muffler shop from a U-pipe. I then wet sanded the pipe smooth and polished it up to make it look good. Absolutely no issues with leakage from the tank. And the exhaust did not melt anything. I have put on...

No the subframe is good. What I'm thinking is I received a set from the first design before they trimmed some of the plastic. From looking at pictures of other protectors mine were not shaped the same way.

I did end up having to cut an angle off the back of the protector where the rubber boot is. I also had to drill a new screw hole. But after doing that they went on perfect!

I bought mine from Port Yamaha. They had the track on sale when I bought. Huge huge savings. Not sure if its still that cheap.

I just ordered the backcountry as well, and it says nothing has to be changed. Do the factory XTX drivers work well enough?
