Hey guys thinking of sno checking a 2012 XTX and have heard conflicting reports wether the 2012 has factory installed extroverts installed. Anyone know? Also what are these new skis they are talking about? I heard they are the Apex skis?

I will give that a shot. After this weekend I am throwing the 21 Tooth stock gear back in. 19 is great for off trail but a little too low for the trail ( i also have the 8 tooth extrovert drivers) Thanks!

TI ended up pulling the tension bolt out and cleaned it with a wire wheel. That is when I noticed the rubber seal you are talking about. Its better but there I still a noticeable whine to it. I'm gonna switch back to the 21 tooth gear and see if that helps. Thanks!!

I have a whining noise on my 2010 xtx while accelerating. I just installed a 19 tooth top gear and am wondering if maybe I tightened it too much?

Im dissapointed. I was hoping for something more... sigh... i guess it will be another year of throwing money at my XTX. I suppose a supercharger would keep me satisfied for awhile..

X3 with the yamaheater they work great ! Best part is hot grips when you warm your sled up. I put it on my "updated" 2010 XTX and have been very happy since. I mostly ride in -15 to -25 C

nope i have 2 xtx's and then the third would likely be a shorty but i would like to be able to haul 3 144's if i had to. . Im torn between an 8.5' wide and a 7' wide. Does the 7' wide pull that much better?
