    LED Headlights

Here's my take on the LED headlights... I have been using HID's since they came on the market. I do not own a vehicle without them. In the beginning of this year, I was asked to beta test a set of LED's in one of my cars. I was VERY disappointed. They cannot compete yet with HID's. If...

    skid question

I just replaced my track and while I had my skid out, I replaced my bushings. They had a little wear, we're probably ok, but figured while in there, just replace them. I would imagine that the transfer bars strengthen the upper and lower portion of the rear shock to the skid. As the shocks...

Hand warmer ecu flash opinions needed

So...if you have Rock's Yamaheater with boost AND the ECU programmed, what would the results be? And will they work together? Will there still be a gain over all? OR should you just have one or the other? I really like warm hands and would invest a little more to have the ultimate warm...

    Track tension w/Extros

Hey all, my extros are coming this week and with a track and stud change, how loose can I run the track? 121" Nytro RTX SE. I went with the Ripsaw II and 144 Woodies Golddiggers up the middle. Already have all of the Schmidt Bros mods, wheels and clutch, 4th wheel kit. Suggestions...

    Tuner Ski Information

Did 130 miles on the new tuners yesterday. All in all they seemed real good. A little push on fresh groomed trails that hadn't set up yet, but real good on harder packed snow. I'm running the 6-0 setup (middle of the road) and think I'll go to the 4-2. 96 studs up the middle. Dave

    Hand warmer

I bought the hot hands Yamaha heaters for this year and I also have Yamahaheater. So far just running the sled to test things, they feel MUCH hotter than stock. The real test will be to ride though... Dave

Pics of New Lights Installed - LEDS and HIDS

Yep, real cool color being blue and all, just suck for visibility. Very hard to see at night. I have 4 vehicles and 2 sleds all with HID's and I can tell you that 5600 are the best, but you can usually only find 6k. Good luck! Dave

    schmidtbros???

Also their extra wheel kit, Yamaha's marginal snow wheels and 4th wheel. I have 96 studs down the middle too. Love the clutch kit, can't wait to put it thru the paces a little more. Only got to ride a couple of times last year. Dave

Protect garage floors from carbide studs?

X2 on the stall mats. Get a buddy to help you move them around, they tend to beat you up a little. I anchored mine down with a couple of tap-cons. I also use them on my trailer. Dave

    schmidtbros???

I have done that, and yes. 104mph GPS. I think it might hit 105-7. Ran out of room and with no ice last year, hard to tell. Primary machining and secondary helix and the low RPM engagement. Dave
