when taking my exhaust off to get to the chaincase , I see three bolts but four holes. what's up with that?

I came into a slow corner and turned out I was on some powder on a huge sheet of ice, sled tries to 180 , I try to catch it, it hooks up and flips. it was over on the left side for 1 or two minutes (it died after about 30 secs?) Flipped it over, let it sit about a minute, started it up...

I'm confused, manual says initial oil change at 500 miles, initial oil filter 300 miles How is it possible to change filter without changing oil? :dunno:

Any idea to what level it should be adjusted, technician at excells stressed that it was important and asked that I bring it in. If it's a simple adjustment I'd rather save the trip.

So... I know how the book says to break it in, then I see people with recommendations that are quite different.... figured a thread may help to clear up what is truly best for a good snappy responsive motor with longevity.

had a friend with an AC saying that their 136" was identical in every way to the vipers 137" , and that it was just a marketing ploy to infer a difference where none truly existed. thoughts?

How many mpg should I be expecting out of my mostly stock phazer? Seemed like it ate a lot today on a short run. from full tank to one bar in about 80-85 miles.

I was looking at Aluminum Wheels for the rear , the site I looked at them on said rubber was only needed if track was studded. I assumed that without rubber on rubber, some track wear would occur. Also , does adding wheels with spokes etc increase the chances of a wheel freezing from...

Does anyone else have this issue? Every once in a while hitting the reverse button does absolutely nothing. I have to turn off the ignition and start again and it will function. I have seen it happen both from drive to reverse , and when in reverse trying to get to drive.
