I know that if you unplug the speedo, the sled runs, but not well and a code appears. Cannot recall the code .

Mine leaked twice, once was the oil seal and once was because of the cover, however, before I shelled out the cash for a new cover, I cleaned it all out, put some RTV silicone on both sides and carefully replaced the same gasket making sure that it held properly in place. 1500 miles later and...

Thats what I got , ran 3000 miles without issue except the inner idlers which I repacked.

As a follow-up, I had my brother in-law (master welder) weld the rad. Looks like he did a great job and after refilling the sled, bleding it and letting her run 20 minutes , seems to have worked, have not taken her out on the trails, but from what I read here, it should be ok. Will repost once...

I just got done removing the studs. do not want this happenning again ! I put in way too much time and money on maintenance to have something this dumb leave in the middle of nowhere ! Waiting for the welder to come and do his magic !

I run 1.325 woody's and have for the past 5 years. This never happenned, bent a few, but never ripped out of the track.

From what I saw it sems like a small hole but when I filled some coolant it seemed to leak from elsewhere but I c`ouldn't tell where. Maybe its just run-off from the sides.

Does the welding really hold up ok ?

Never happenned to me before and I always stud my sleds. funny enough I have been braking some studs this year and while we were having lunch, I was saying how I will not stud my next sled and BAM !!! Now for sure I won't stud it !

Well, it finally happenned, Yammi left me stranded on the trail. a stud ripped out of the track and pierced the rad, lost all prestone. Has thing happenned to anyone? if so can I weld the hole on the rad or do I need to replace it?

amsoil 0w30 for me and nothing else. amsoil chaincase gear oil too synth. 100% of course .

Here is another dumb question....... How bad is the ice build up? Check to see if maybe your hand brake cable froze-up, maybe the lever is down but thee emergency brake is engaged?
