Good choice I am a technician at a Toyota dealer for the last 18 years the new tundras are realy nice. I own a 04 tundra TRD and love it, but every time I road test a new tundra with a 5.7 I want one.
I haven't used that yamaha efi storage oil, I would just get some sea foam put some in the fuel tank run the sled let it work into the fuel injectors and fuel is stabilized then. For fogging the engine you can get a can of fogging spray from a parts store and spray some into the throttle body...
I just changed mine, but did it differently. I took a air hammer and a dull chisel bit and just hammered them out on the edge of the slider works great takes no time at all providing you have a air compressor and air hammer.
I use sea foam in every piece of gas equipment I have from ice augers, chainsaws, lawn equipment , out board motors and snowmobiles with great results good preventative maintenance. I am a technician and swear but it.
You can add it in the oil tank, but why are you putting sea foam in engine is the engine full of sludge from lack of maintenance? I have used sea foam in car engines that come to the shop with poor maintenance and engine is full of sludge. I normal use sea foam in the fuel tank to stabilize fuel...
I had the 5 inch ski on a polaris trail touring it had 2100 miles them they wore good, but sucked for floatation. Then I put the 7 inch powder skis on had only 20 miles on them then sold the sled and up graded to a yamaha venture mp. The camoplast 7 inch ski was way better in the deep snow...
I went from a 2008 polaris dlx touring 550 with a 136 inch track and 7 inch powder skis on it to a 2010 venture mp I can go through a lot more deep snow and I don't get stuck the polaris I would get stuck almost every ride, but I look for deeper snow to play in. I am happy with my mp in snow...
Just went and went over suspension again put my settings to high and 2up block up those arms are about half way colapsed so I it's about the same as your mp mooseman. I think it must be normal or possibly the rear shock a little week. Just thought it was odd to colapse so easy.
Sorry the pics didn't go threw. Yes there is a bit of travel and rides ok so I think it is normal thanks for the in put. I did see a new one at a local yamaha dealer did notice it was on medium and half collapsed when when sitting there maybe once it has 1900 miles the springs break in and it...
Suspension looks ok I took some pictures of the rear pivot arm the one with the two grease fittings. First picture is the one off the lift second picture is with track lifted off the ground. I guess what I want to know is it normal with track on the ground and no extra wieght on the sled for the...
Sea foam can de used in the oil and gas but I would only run it in the gas unless you never change the oil and it is carboned up. I run sea foam in all my gas engines they all start up right away.
The sled seems to ride smooth compared to my 08 polaris 2 up 550. I will have a good look again today at suspension. The 2 up blocks are down and it is set to medium, dosnt look low. Just find it odd that if I push down on rear bumper and it dosnt really move and the 2.5 inchs of sag what I...
Just came back from a ride with the new belt still on, but I cleaned secondary clutch and got 84mph out of it easy so it was just a dirty clutch robbing me of speed.
