If you are talking about the 6 idler wheels on the suspension, I did not take the suspension out. Just loosen the track and unbolt the old ones and put the new ones on. I ordered acceserory wheels form Port Yamaha and they work fine. ;)!
Dealer told me to only add 3 qts of oil with oil change and filter change. Have done that for 3000 miles and have no problem. They told me if you add more than 3 qts. you will have a oily problem in air box. :o|
Well took the side cover off the right side and air box off and oil tank off and looked for the leak. Could not find anything,so put it all back together except the side cover and put it outside and let it run until it got hot. Can not find the anti freeze leak anywhere. Must be like...
Sorry wrong year it was 2010. I started it up the other night and let it get warm. It was dripping behind the oil tank. Haven't had time to take it apart. Yes this was the first time I ran it in the snow.
Had my cam chain tensioner put by a dealer on in Oct. of 09. Started it up after I got it home and all sounded and looked good. Took it out of the trailer to run it this afternoon. I let it warm up took it across the field and brought it back and shut it off and notice steam coming from under...
Just picked up my 06 Rage today from the dealer after they put on a new cam chain tensioner. Started her up and it sounds a lot quieter and runs a lot smoother. They also put in the exhaust donuts in while they had it apart. It cost $684.00 and it was worth it to know that there is one less...
Norm it sounds like a dead battery to me. The flame out the back I don't know about, but if you jumped it and it started right up it sounds like you have a bad battery. The instrument panel going out if I remember right someone said if the battery is low it will shut off all the electrical stuff...
I have a garmin 60 csx hard wire to the battery with in line fuse. I rode in 5 degree with the wind chill of -15 standing still. The garmin preformed prefect. No problems.
Gone Blue and Grimm thanks for all your help. I just got it hard wired to the battery.I ran the wire out the left headlight opening and zip tided to the maiin electric cable under the hood. I had enough wire to make it to the battery terminals. It is not tight but just enough free play so it...
I did a little searching last night but that didn't answer my need for knowledge. I mounted my gps on the hood next to the speedometer. Now I have to find a place to put my wiring so when I lift my hood I don't rip the wire off. Can I hard wire into the headlight wire or would that be a bad...
I put the big boy spring on my 06 Rage and the setting is on 1. I weigh 250 lbs without suit and love the ride. It will bottom out if you hit a BIG bump. Other wise, the best ride ever. You will have to work with your RA valve for rebound. :4STroke:
I bought a 60csx this spring and put it on my bike this summer and it worked great. I put the North American NT map in it and love it. It is like having a paper map in front of you. Going to wire the sled when I get it home and put a mount on and get a trail map for it. I think it will work...
