I never put one in a Vector, just 3 SRX's and an Arctic Cat ZR 700. You will absolutely love that suspension. Don't let anyone tell you different. I believe that somewhere on this site under product tests they review the installation on an RX1 which should be pretty close to the same.

I ran my c clip in the stock position. If I move it up one position to get more preload won,t I be stiffening up the suspension so that it would ride even stiffer over the stutter bumps at the expense of riding stiffer over the big stuff? I only weigh 165 with all equipment on.

Mongo,
I have had an M10 in the last 4 SRX's that I had and unfortunately I did not remove it from the last one I traded in when I bought my RTX. What changes did you make to your monoshock that improved the ride? Over the stutter bumps its not as smooth as the M10 and the suspension also...
Not exactly the technical answers I was looking for. I have been a member of this site for the past year and a sledder for thirty-five years. I have have seen some useful information on this site but quite honestly if this is the best the members can offer another sledder, it is just a...
I put on 1700 miles on my RTX last season and had to relearn how to approach corners by using my engine rpm's as a brake instead of my break lever. I would like to reduce the engine breaking harshness. In fact if I am standing and let of the smile handle I almost go over the bars. Is there...
Fox floats
I have put 1700 miles on my RTX and have adjusted just about everything on this sled including experimenting with different pressure in the fox floats. I notice that if I run 85psi that some of the dealers recommend the sled gets tippy in the corners. I usually ride with 55psi in...
Three points 1) The mono shock suspension does not handle the stutter bumps nearly as well as an M10, 2) The mono shock has a tendency to bottom out and if you stiffen it up its stiff over everything while the M10 is not and 3) Weight transfer is a problem with the mono shock. Less weight...
I had an M10 back in 1996 and thru the years I ended putting it in 6 different sleds (3 SRX 700s), loved that thing. All with a loss of about 5mph on top end. I have two questions. 1) Should I expect to lose top end speed with the new M10's in my RTX, and 2) Will it corner flatter due to less...
Before I start taking apart my 600 piece RTX puzzle, can someone tell me how to adjust the headlight. My dims point to where my brights should be and my brights point into the trees?

I have had both snow glows and snow force LED lights. Overall you will be much more satisfied with the Snow Force LED lights. They are brighter, more reliable, easier to install and are much less exposed to damage due to their small size. I have run both on my sleds now since 1996. Snow...
