    What is your RX-1 flat-cruise MPH @ 7500 & 8000 RPM?

If I remember correctly, it is fairly linear 60 at 6, 70 at 7, 80 at 8, 90 at 9, and 100 at 10 I haven't rode my RX1 in 3 years now. I did gear it down one tooth (lower number top gear) to match the mountain sled specs. Takes off easier without burning or squealing the belt. I only...

    Sidewinder Year to Year Performance

I agree they should have been. I have made the change on mine and it is hardly noticeable. I do have it tuned to 270 and a 33/35 helix. I'm starting to wonder about another step up. No studs either, so that makes a difference as I get a lot of spin starting out, but even soft starts going...

    TAPP Set up 998

Has anyone found a way to keep the pins from turning? You still need to get them out to replace rollers so loc tight is not a good option

Dreaded Chain Case Crack Got Me!

Other than losing reverse, I would think about going to the belt drive system. I don't remember the cost though.

    2025 SRX photo leak?

Yes. The LE model is ugly with 80s teal graphics. I wouldn't own one with your money.

    Highest Speeds on Sidewinder/Thundercat

I have often wondered about this and it has been my main reason to stay out of Canada. Is it really ever enforced on open trails? Very ridiculous as a general speed limit

    Highest Speeds on Sidewinder/Thundercat

Buddy i ride with had a deer jump over him tapping the sled windshield tip and then his helmet during daylight hours. He was certainly surprised, but managed to keep it straight. I got to watch it happen as I was behind him.

    Who's going to order a 2025??

Same thought with my RX1 that looks like new with 12,000 miles on it. Still runs strong. Only thing i'm worried about are the clutch parts getting hard to find with many used ones going into Sidewinders. Exhaust problems will get difficult to solve on these too

    GSE Performance add on eps

Thank you for your honest report and feedback. I have been considering going on way or another with power steering myself. I have WAY too much money in my 17 to start over with a new sled, so I'm very interested in your GSE report. I also have an older car (1970) with power steering that...

    Broken fuel rail

I just changed plugs this weekend on mine without moving the tank. My forearms are bruised from trying to remove and install the coils on the head. They came off hard and went back on very hard. Not sure I will do this again without moving the tank.

    Skis Lock Up

I have found that if I stand in front of my sled and pull the skies all the way to the left, I can't pull them back to the center. They get locked in that position. If I grab the handlebars I can easily turn them back to center. Looking at the steering shaft stop, I see it hits the frame as...

    Project: DIY clutch side vents

I agree with your thought on airflow, but I have a guard from PEFI and it is solid in that area. just thought I should mention it may not be as helpful as one would like. I haven't even put the clutch side on yet as you do need to remove the lower panel to install. Even in the small...
