Re: oil filter no offense taken just trying to welcome newcomers. I do always like to run name brand oils when i have the choice. If its my truck i run motorcraft 5w-20 semi synthetic from walmart at 12.50 for 5 qts. I think its a great deal considering what plain jane oil runs these days...

I have never heard of the company. at 11,000 rpm i want a name brand.. at 4,500 rpm in my truck i am not as worried about who produced the oil. also you may want to add your location as it is a forum rule.

Chafing on edge of seat. I am guessing there is a post on here somewhere on removing the seat? What would i secure it with once stretched? Thanks

My 06' Attak is developing a small tear in the seat at the bottom edge near the fuel tank. Are there any tricks to keep the tear from growing? Its just barely knicked now and I am afraid its going to open up into a large tear if I dont do something. Any ideas?

yes. i just stand a little furthur back on the boards and i can ride standing up as needed. much better leverage in the turns too.... puts the bars inline with my chest instead of my belly... a riser is required for anyone tall in my opinion.. the sled is designed for a human weighing...

Thats what i did. been running it for 2000 miles... mine is an attak but i highly doubt there is any difference in cables or bars since both are 2006...

I have the 3.5 rox pivot riser on my 06' attak. I am 6'4" and it works good. no cable changes needed. just remove cables from the gathering clip underneath top cover and wire tie instead and rotate brake cable down and you are good to go... all you need is the riser...

I assume it was the dealers doing the coolant as my coolant came mixed properly. I am sure the factory could screw it up too but makes more sense to me that the dealers would screw it up. I would assume they would have a large quantity of premixed coolant at the factory and it would be hard or...
