Long time !
Just found your new build and its really nice !
I dont recomend steep running boards, i had quite step angle on my build and its not nice when standing up and riding.
I have seen a build with spercharger and turbo here in Sweden.
it was a very complex system with reed valves and blow of valves to divert pressure from the unit making lowest boost at the moment.
Well Photobucket wants 400 bucks yearly to activate my pictures to make em show on forums again and that wont happen.
So this build thread is pretty much screwed..
Here is the playlist on Youtube where you can see the build from start...
One theory is that the Apex Engine is spinning the opposite direction of the clutch due to the gear reduction, and that might cancel out a bit of the rotating mass.
Burandt had carbon spindles but not for long :)
The tall spindles put less stress on the upper a-arm so it can be made lighter (aluminum on skinz) but the weight of the taller spindle probably makes it heavier in total than a "normal" front end.
If it is the bearing or the block then it would move the gap to the other side when turning it 180.
its probably within factory tolerances, but i would add the shim.
I also think its the cast side that is a bit warped
Could it be tension in it that releases when drilling and cutting in it ?
Those angled corners may stiffen it up or force it out a bit when attached to the stock tunnel, i dont know im just speculating :)
