Yes it does. Still has the original subframe as well. I know changing will help it but I personally have never thought it handles bad. A little darts on trail but I don't ride trails much
I am on the fence I like the adjustability of the skis and the spindle. I still rock the 08 nytro. I want to upgrade I do not want the 3" track I would be happy with the 2.25 but I want the le with boost and only a 153 my riding does not require a 162
so is it because I weight 230lbs that I think the stock aarm 08 nytro is easy to carve and hold a carve? The only real complaint I have is a down hill turn to go back up it really does not do and when side hilling it does not like to hold the line usually climbs. I would like to fix some of the...
Why not just go up in tooth count on the top gear? Say a 23-49? I would think the 8 tooth driver would get better result than just the gears if you are need to go that much faster.
for a flat lander I would either swap the track to a 2 inch or cut it down. That would shave a ton of rotating weight.
You are correct if he put the 8fs back in he would be fine with the GWG the 8bu is too light of weight in my opinion for the gwg. I actually have set up a few with the 8bu and ypy and 14.5 rollers all with great success. I spent money on clutch kits that just did not work so I started playing...
It is hard to clutch because there is so much out there that can work. My advice for what you have is get rid of the GWG spring with 8bu weight that spring is too stiff. Try a Yellow Pink Yellow if you are willing to experiment.
I am considering it as I am riding an 08 nytro but with the spectacular snow we have had up here this year not sure I will plunge. I am with Nikolai if they would make a NA 165hp I would be in.
I like to have a little more weight transfer. What skid do you have? The shorter the limiter strap the better the approach angle but more weight is transferred to the front. The longer the limiter strap the steeper the approach angle but more weight transferred to the rear. I would think 2 or 3...
How high is high? Might want to get another set of weights for elevation. If you only loose a couple hundred RPMS it would be ok. I have a feeling you will be riding a drastic difference in elevation. Gearing and clutching would be a huge benefit.
