However, I was riding across the Lake today, and I almost died as I saw with my own eyes, the ice crack in front of...
So I went to the snowmobile drags today. No I didnt race... :)
But what I had to say was that my sled nearly didnt start. We went and watched for a few hours and the sled sat outside, it was -30C or so.
I went to start it up to leave and it cranked over good, low temp lite was on, but no...
Anyone else notice that Yamaha only has 2 year warranty now?
My Phazer came with 3 (snow check), but now you can oly get two. Guess some of us got a deal, and Yamaha realized this.

As per the below dyno of a stock Phazer:
How do I change my clutching to bring my peak RPM down from 12,100 (120 KM/hr) down to 11,300 or so.
I know I can change the rivets, but since I have never done so I was hoping someone could give me an idea what this involves.
Where do I get...
Definetly made a difference, starts first revolution now, from cold.
Also I have airbox mods, and the there is no longer any hesitation off the get go.
I believe they just richened up the bottom end a bit.

I am trying to figure out the advantages to clutching my sled.
The only things I can come up with are:
A) If your RPM is above or below 11750 at WOT which is our peak HP.
B) If the stock clutching is less effecient due to slippage etc and generates excessive heat.
Are either of these...

Thanks guys,
-Steve
I assume a few others have noticed that its wearing in rather softly.
Has Yamaha helped any of you on this issue? Mine is starting to bottom more often, can I approach Yamaha with this issue?
Is there a general fix to strenthen it slightly? Or stiffen the suspension slightly, if its...

Pics from today... too tired for writing any stories :)
Other then I think the Phazer needs wider skis... if you venture anywhere off a groomed trail... It really plows into the snow when its deep, unless you stand right at the back.
And the radiator keeps plugging! Other then that...
Woah... just got back from a ride... Crazy. Im gonna need a few hours to recover.
For now though...
