Nope, my 07 FX takes grease in all fittings. but on some of the grease fittings they leak around the spot welds which is comon. but i just pump in grease untill it comes out the ends of the bushings. I have'nt heard of anyone haveing to machine grooves in the shafts.
I had the same problem with my FX. I put a fresh set of plugs in and presto it fired up almost immediatly. When I pulled the old plugs they were compleetly fouled.
I closed both holes because I was tired of wet boots and having to stop all the time to clean the ice out of my tunnel. I removed the rubber side strips and trimmed back the heat shield under the gas tank to allow heat to escape better. I also installed a Racer's Edge Hindle exhaust. So far no...
i bent my left spindle as well, from a bad off cambre landing, on what i thought was a relativly small jump. but as hemi had mentioned i removed the spindle and straightened it on a press it worked great and i have not been able to re bend it since...
my dealer replaced the little yammy emblem of the front of my fx that just decided to fall off one day. this is the only warrenty claim i have had to make all season. :yam:
