I contacted @hibshman25. He called back, I got the parts I needed. They weren't overly priced. They arrived in a timely manner and all worked as they should. I would definitely recommend!
2007 Apex ER. Buddy put it in a creek and its on me to fix! Left side a-arms twisted up. What years and models will fit this 2007 Apex? I looked up some part numbers on Partzilla and they are different but I'm not sure if that refers to color. As this is a back up sled he doesn't care what...
Rockerdan has a long thread on sled lifts that is very informative. I think its in the Sidewinder trail forum. Using that thread, I chose the Lift-a-sled and think it works great.

Super informative post. Thanks Rockerdan! I've been contemplating getting a sled lift for years but just haven't pulled the trigger. Trigger has been pulled! You did all the homework for me! Thanks!
Thanks for the replies. We are going with the rotopak (1 gallon). Gonna stick in bag and see how storage is. If it takes up too much, we'll fabricate something to mount it on the side. If we do that I'll post up what we do.
So in order to use this 5033 belt the secondary would need to be shimmed. Will it still work as a spare without shimming? I plan on getting some 8jp belts.
On our Canandian trip, the SW blew a belt. Only only option was to get a belt from a snowmobile repair shop. Not a dealer. After a lot of searching, they said the the Dayco XTX5033 would work. I cannot find the SW on any of the Dayco charts. Was wondering if anyone knows if this is the proper...
Where is it? I need to adjust the shock springs and according to manual there is a tool in the tool kit for this. But I can't find the tool kit!!!
Thanks!
I agree and I will be checking that system out. Don't hate me but I have an 850 ordered. Will need gas and storage for that sled. I've been using the saddlebags from my 2000 SXR on my 1200. They look terrible but do the job for week long trips. And I use the tunnel for my gas caddy. Gonna...
Steve, What is that? Where is the fuel can? Inside? May be able to use something like that for Canadian trips and the current bag for local day trips.
And another question, where is the tool kit for this sled?? Can't find it. Need to adjust the shocks.
As far as the fuel range, we ride...
Need one for this sled. This is the bag we already have for it and would like to keep the bag if possible. I've seen a pic of the rotopak gas tank in this bag I think. But does that leave room for a 5 day trip? I also thought maybe mount the Rotopak tank on tail and then just have this bag go...
Yup. Dug into it a little. Its missing 2 of the 3 bolts. The one in the back is still there. All the bolts on the heat shields were loose and 1 was missing. The heat shield on the gas tank is still attached, but the aluminum foil is not.
Called dealer. Recalls on the turbo bolts and heat...
Any idea where this would go? Found it in the chaincase well. Haven't taken anything apart yet. 2017 Sidewinder.
It's a friends. I'm changing the oil and doing general maintenance on it.
Not sure. Its a 137 and has the piggyback shocks.
And I agree. I didn't think it rode "bad" right from the dealer. Just not very plush. And tough to start making changes when we were in Canada on a saddlebag trip and the skid is loaded with snow!
Yamaha peeps - I'm doing the maintenance on a friends 2017 L-TX. Need some advice on how to set up sled. The rider will be a 60+ year old, 200 lb man. He rides fast, but will slow down when it gets rough. He has been hard core Yamaha for over 30 years but after riding my 1200 he has had 3...
