It just won't be the same without him. Terrible loss.

    Clutch kits for nytro

Not quite sure what you're asking, but I assume you're looking at the stock clutch kit parts? What is it you're wanting to swap? They are different between models. They're optimized for the gearing and weights of each sled. I do have the service manual for the Nytro that shows all of the...

“Where are the rest of the Yamaha snowmobiles?” and speculating about our future.

The problem with the sled industry is that it's one of the smallest segments in motorsports. That being said, it pays to have new wheeled vehicles hit the market every few years whereas the R&D costs to develop completely new machines is spread over fewer total units. If you were seeing...

    Relay or Something Else?

Check the connections at the relay block that's above the oil tank for corrosion as well. Mine did a similar ting a few years ago and it ended up being a "key-on" wire that goes through there. They're not weather tight connections, and if I remember right (I'm not near my sled or a service...

    Studding a Nytro XTX Backcountry

If you read Jason's post, it ways he replaced it with the 1.25" track.

    My 2018 Apex 50th XTX

How similar to the Dooleys are those carbides? Are the inside edges between the runners such that they will hold packed snow? { like ( ) instead of ) ( ?} I had the Dooleys on my sled for a season and they would pack full of ice/snow. It ended up causing a ton of drag and my fuel mileage went...

07 apex rpm's very low and stalls when warm on idle

Adjusting the CO settings will only affect the idle areas below clutch engagement speeds. The rest of your adjustments should be made with your Power Commander

Problem - Should I Cut the Tunnel Protectors?

A lot of the icing happens in the rear always from exhaust heat. If you're not running over 1 3/4" track, it's not going to hurt anything to ditch the protectors completely. I have a few pairs of them I the shelf if you want a straight set..

    Chain case ?

I would want to compare the specs on the bearings you have pictured versus the bearings you'd get at your dealer to be sure they're as good or better before use them. If you were asking if you would change them while you're in there the answer is absolutely. Cheap insurance versus being broken...

RX-1 with bender turbo kit (removal), Re-Gearing

You'd have to tell us what the tooth count is that you have. Different models of sleds use different gears, so it's possible that it's a Yamaha gear that was originally from a different application. You'll also need to know the number of links in the chain, and the bottom gear size. If you're...

Gonna give oil less turbo a try (Comp turbo)

Seems an odd thing to have coolant to it but no oil, but I guess we'll see what Clutchmaster says about it. Looks like a nice piece anyways. Sent from my LG-US996 using Tapatalk

maximum boost on stock motor/91 pump gas?

You may have a bit better gas than we do south of the border. 93 is the best I've ever seen at the pump, and it's not always easy to find. 91 is the most common that I've seen, and even then, some brands are better than others. Sent from my LG-US996 using Tapatalk

    Aftermarket Apex Oil Tank review.

At least it's not volume less like MPI's. I built mine out of carbon fiber so it fills in more of the available space, and the total volume is now right at 5qts. Sent from my LG-US996 using Tapatalk

PCV Fuel Boost and Timing ?

Every motor will like different amounts of timing retard, but as a general rule, one degree for each psi of boost is a general guideline. Keep in mind, you can really lean your motor out and make more pier with timing retard, but dont go nuts making adjustments. Make small adjustments when...

maximum boost on stock motor/91 pump gas?

You can get away with a little more than 6-7 psi on a stock motor and 91oct if you have a control box with timing retard. If you have a really efficient intercooler to lower intake air temps that helps too. Sent from my LG-US996 using Tapatalk

    Vacuum on throttle bodies?

If you're looking to add a gauge, you may have to "T" into all of the throttle bodies, connect them together and then run it to you're gauge though. Didnt do that on one of my sleds a few years ago and the gauge fluttered around at idle. They'll pull a smoother signal connecting to all of them...

    Knock sensor for s/c setup?

To elaborate in what Kinger posted, knock sensors are a very finicky process to perfect, and each sensor much be tuned for each engines harmonics and "nose". I know of one member (1CrazySledder)that had a Parker box on his sled, and he's said that the light would flicker and flash quite a bit at...
