    Trying The 8DN BELT

I don't want to start a huge fight here, All I'm saying it's getting too long winded and it's time to start a new thread that states the facts not the BS!! 33 pages is too long. :o|

    I called Yamaha

The article came from OSM MAG States:: If you've experienced trouble starting your Viper after its warmed up, always use the key switch to turn the sled on or off. Unlike the key, the kill switch will not reset the ECU, meaning the sled will attempt to start using the last know calibrations it...

    I called Yamaha

I read the other day, don't stop your sled with the kill switch. When stopping for fuel or what ever reason to use the key. Something to do with the ecu staying in the wrong mode when using the kill switch. I have never had the hot start issue ever since i installed the turbo and power commander V.

    Beware of muffler falling apart

I'd like to see where they are breaking. I can't believe with all the broken mufflers here that there hasn't been a picture posted yet?

    Clutch question?

Also tried the 8DN. ???? You must be a micro manager to notice any difference with the 8DN on the Viper. Unless i don't have an issue like a lot of you guys.

    Clutch question?

If your running a turbo, you might want to change your gearing. I hit the rev limiter no matter what i tried until I geared up. If i threw too much weight on my primary weights it would run fine but in loose snow would upshift too fast. I don't have the ratio in front of me at this moment but I...

    sled head fox float 3s

I just ordered a set of four Hygear shocks. Hoping to get them before our snow melts. We still have a tonne of snow here, but now starting to get some seasonal weather. Hopefully will ride smoother. Fox Floats are way too stiff with limited travel.

Viper Rider forward positon compared to Nytro

My wife has a 2012 Renegade 600 Etec. I find my Viper to be much easier to stand up, and when standing I feel much more comfortable on my Viper.

Rear Ended this Weekend... Minor Tunnel Creases... Fixable??

That's the worst. Hate when guys tail gate. If you're going to replace the back of the tunnel, there is Carbon fiber tunnels you can put on with less weight. There is a company called Patrick Custom Carbon. His Number is 815-721-5150. I see you have the black tunnel so that would be a good fit...

    Turbo or not?

Hurricane Turbo comes with a Hindle can. I love the sound and we have no restrictions here in Manitoba. But you have to be smart where you let it bark, don't want to upset anyone.

    Turbo or not?

I have the Hurricane turbo. Easy install and hasn't given me any problems. 5-6 lbs of boost and sounds awesome. Gauges are a must to see what your engine is running at. With gauges I see the turbo is spot on. I have ditch banged this sled ridden hard and all holds up. If you are in a noise...
