To thin of an oil? I am really just checking to see if Syntec is a decent oil or not, usually comes on sale here for a good price.

Can i run Castrol Syntec in my Apex mtx? Costco has it at a decent price, i usually use Amsoil power sport 0-30, the castor is 5-20 i think. Thanks.

that stock bag sort of sits on the rectifier also, i have one and put the odd thing in it, never had a problem, i mostly store my arctic cat tow rope in there and a few other tow related items.

I did it to mine also, after i did it i noticed i would hit the rev limiter, never did with the stock track, i have gearea down to an 18 top gear on mine since, works good.

do the apex and Nytro have the same shock? How exactly do you measure a shock? a lot of places i look give i think it is a compressed and an extended measurement?

Not getting a bunch of help on either site really, another option apparently is a reservoir shock from a Nytro XTX, and I read somewhere a Venture MP shock also.

I am looking at some different options. Was just reading about using a Venture MP rear shock, has anyone done this and is it a straight bolt on?

I have an 08 Apex MTX, my rear shock is sacked out and i was wondering what aftermarket shock will fit? Thanks for any info :)

Thanks, i found that the Nytro and Apex gears are the same and have put on an 18 tooth Nytro gear.

Im about the same size as you, i do boondocking, and i like mine set about 100-110 lbs

wouldnt even let me put a drain into the ground, i assume for the same reason you stated..people that dump oil and such down the drain. I was going to dig a deep hole and put gravel into it and use that, but they said no!

They wouldnt let me do one either when i did my garage, think it has something to do with contaminates getting into the soil or something like that.

i lift mine up at the track and put it on a small stool, then slide a long plastic taboggan under the skid, catches about 80%of the water, then squeege the rest out the door.

Looking for a part number for an 18 tooth top gear (i have reverse if that makes a difference) it is for an 08 Apex MTX, i found one number but not sure if it will work with reverse, the number i found is 8FA-17682-80, i assume i should go to a smaller chain also, what is the suggestion for...

I am thinking about putting a 18 tooth top gear on my Apex MTX, i have stock bottom (40 tooth?) and have already put in a 19 2 seasons ago, but want some more bottom end, dont really need to do over 100 mph anyways, my question is this, can i use the stock chain? And is it worth going from a 19...
