I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago! I did notice it right away, thankfully!!!! One bolt had backed out completely causing one side to drop down and the other side was loose. Even when I went through my sled this fall, those top a-arm bolts were not very tight. I would say barely snug!!!
The big round dials are the rebound!
Don't slow it down too much! You need to find a happy medium were it's slow enough to not buck, but it's quick enough to be ready for the next bump. Nytromaniac, this doesn't apply to you! LOL! Your style of riding and where you ride is a lot different...
I have the FXR leather claw and they work very well! I rode a lot last year with gauntlets, but not now!! I have had to stop a couple of times to warm up really quick on the exhaust, but the temps were close to zero!! I'm very happy with the purchase!! ;)!
You need to slow down the rebound!!!! You don't need the suspension returning or topping back out so fast. If you slow it way down, your suspension will return slower reducing that bucking and swapping, but it will be out enough to absorb the next bump!
^^This is a good idea also!^^ What I do, I tip the sled on it's side with a 4x4 under the footwell and a crate under the handlebar, loosen the track all the way, and pull the skid out. I always put the front of the skid in first when I'm putting it back together. I get the front bolts in then I...
A rear heat exchanger might help. I've seen a few different sizes and configurations that could work back there. This sled would definitely not overheat. It's hard to say if a rear heat exchanger with an under tunnel exhaust would do the trick or if the exhaust needs to be above the tunnel...
Here's a link for a similar idea. I did the same thing. However it did not eliminate all the snow and ice build up, but it did reduce it a great deal.

I would put a under tunnel exhaust on and rear heat exchanger to eliminate all that ice! I put a plate on mine and it did a nice job! I had some build up but nothing remotely close to that!!!
