That's the reason I said 98%, because I know there no way it could ever handle that good! I don't think they had the SRX in mind when they made that claim. Shorter suspensions and lower CG yes but shorter overall length not really. The SRX's overall length is approx. 109" and the Apex's 110"...

The comparo vids sucked that bad that I actually overlooked this one...Video. No doubt this video is one-sided but pretty informative none the less. I wish for Yamaha's sake this was the only video they had released.

Good question. Anyone know? No, just an Apex LTX during demo rides last winter. I liked the LTX but in back to back runs comparing it to the Apex I felt that it pushed more in the twisties. I think if 144's handled like 121's a lot more people would be running them. I want what Yamaha is...

I think you guys nailed the real reason why they did this and IMO it's just plain MADNESS!!! Maybye the Doo camp really is "getting to" Yamaha. I sure hope not but the signs are there. :o| If they would just listen to more of us (their customers and fans) and less of them (the haters) Yamaha...

Thanks for the link Grizz. How would you say your 144" handles trail riding compared to the 121". I thought this sounded to good to be true. :drink: So it looks like if I want a 144" Apex with XTX geometry I need to hope and pray Yamaha builds it or buy an aftermarket suspension. :o|
