Viper swag
Did some sniffing around and yes, the goodies will arrive around the same time as the sleds. For Canadian customers, Pete tells me if you have a deposit down on a new 2014 Yamaha (any model) you should visit your dealer towards the end of June, nod nod wink wink :sled1:

Here's a link to the flow rate chart. Basically the F3 won't handle the full quirt from a pump it is more for portable. They make a big dual filter system for high flow pumps but wouldn't be the ticket for saddle-bagging it. Aside from sledding they are the bees knees for marine use (keep one in...
I ran that track on mine last year with no problems. Considering all we had was ice, I gotta say it works.. and yes BountyHunter... we're still listening! Why does my head hurt?

Gotta sound off on this one. I was given a sample, used it for a season at the cottage. Was impressed enough to bring it in house and we are now a distributor. Yamaha dealers in Canada have them available ether in stock or a coupla days from us. The small area beneath the filter is intentional...
There is no right or wrong to this. I am running 6 inside and 4 out. The cool thing is all you need to do is swap the skis from one side to the other to reverse the bars.
What track length, studs (or lack-of) shock pre-load and susp adjustment, rider weight style and last but not least, snow...
Folks, we are looking for some general feedback on the colors and graphics applied to the 2012 Yamaha snowmobiles. I would prefer to do a detailed survey to look at each model but have been asked to get a more generic snap shot. SO I guess the easiest way is to 'poll' how we're doing and let...
inventory
I checked inventory in Canada and there is only three pairs of those gloves left in our stock. It is quite likely they have already sold through at wholesale in the USA. When it comes to garments and gear, we have to crystal ball our forecasts with the intent to sell through so we can...
No worries
Hey GBG, no apology required at all. I always think its pretty cool whenever someone finds my ramblings interesting enough to share in another forum. I'm simply trying to avoid any unnecessary calls into our customer relations department. They hate it when I make work for them...
Re: Yamaha Canada explains availability of the new accessori
Thx GBGuy, just wanted to clarify, your quote was taken from my blog, the email only goes out to Sled Talk subscribers (similar to an RSS feed). I don't want our CR department getting calls on why 'I didn't get an email'. It wasn't...
Congrats
Hats off to you Tom and your mods. I have to agree entirely with the Trax crew and here I thought Mark and Kent were only lurking on Doo-Talk ;-)

I posted a link in the general forums for a spring SMB survey. There is a section within the survey very specific to the 2011 Apex (EPS) models which our engineers are very interested in. Funny thing though, the survey has received over 1000 responses I only have 55 for Apex EPS as of this...
That jacket was available in 2008, special edition 40th anniversary, none left in our stock perhaps you may find one in dealer inventory, not sure if NV ordered any to sell in Europe... you'd look damn fine in one!! cheers cr
Survey update
Well it hasn't been 24 hours since I posted the survey and I already have received 100 responses. I am reading all the comments as well and want to thank you guys for responding maturely with some well written, honest and understandable comments. 'Tough love' so to speak!
I am...
I have been asked by YMC to provide them with some detailed information on the likes and dislikes of both Yamaha snowmobile owners and those who choose to ride other brands.
Of course the first place I thought of to post the link is on TY but if any of you have credibility on some of the...
Survey is now closed
Folks, thanks to all of you who completed the survey. I have closed the collectors and am now in the stage of summarizing and building an analysis.
There was a good sample with several hundred responses between TY and Sled Talk, your input is greatly appreciated.
It is...
We have been kicking around some ideas on Sled Talk about the future of snowmobiling, new riders, aging riders and where it is all going. If you have any thoughts on Yamaha's current line-up and the total market with regards to snowmobiles under 120hp, I would sure like to add you to a...
Congrats Pat, an extra 500 clams at Christmas is a good thing. Also appreciate your comments on our ATV's. I run Kodiak's at the cottage simply because they have plenty of power to get it done and the smaller size is a bonus in the bush.

studding 2011
I posted on this topic last week: 'What a Stud?' Allan summed it up well. There is a difference on the new Apex. Heads up.
