Do you have stock bar and risers or aftermarket? You may need to adjust the free play on the throttle. I know I had a slight hesitation 1/4 throttle and replaced the tps. You can go into diagnostic mode and check your throttle and see what the numbers do. I believe there is a thread here on...
I’d also suggest diagnostic mode sounds like the tors or tps. My sled did the same thing at 1/4 throttle backfiring anything above that it ran great, zero codes. Replaced the tps sensor and it’s been fine ever since
You totally could, do the other tuners unlock the stock ecu? Or do they tune with a power commander or something equivalent? So I run gems on my sled and I’ve heard they can go bad, so this idea peaked my interest to eliminate them.
It basically eliminated a power commander, it’s basically for remapping the stock Ecu. I had a friend of mine do it on his alpha and they managed to get another 20 hp out of it. Apparently you can build in all kinds of fail safe stuff to protect the motor as well.
I'm running the MPI kit on mine, top pulley on the charger was a 26 not sure what the bottom one is. It's the stock setup from MPI. I'm a flatlander and I saw 14.5, I'm also running straight race gas.

Good article in Japanese gives you an idea of how small the market is for the snowmobile industry. Google translate does a fair to poor job in translating. Figured this is good to pass the time until mar. 1st
just like the MPI superchargers that went for around $4900, everyone said why not buy a Nytro for that, well I would spend the $4600 on a turbo or supercharger and I would tell everyone that owns a Phazer to make that investment, it is by far the best thing that I have ever done.
I am curious to know what yamaha of japan is up to look at there lineup for 2016, last year they had the NYTRO mtx now they just have the Phazer mtx, and the utility sleds. Perhaps somethings brewing?????
I only have about 300 miles on mine, I have no head shim, but have been running straight race gas vp c14, I bought my supercharger used, I did blow a supercharger belt first and only time out this season, but I really have no idea how many miles were on the belt to begin with. So now I make sure...
