One thing i find interesting is zr5000 with zuk 4s is 3300 dollars cheaper than 7000 with nytro motor. Trying to dump extra motors? Is that twin other than horrible sound that bad?? That is alot of coin!
Factor in snow conditions as everything is magnified on a nytro. 2 weeks ago i was riding on hard packed freshly groomed trails and in the woods i was about ready to just let go and send that baby launching off into a huge tree where i dreamed it would blow up in a ball of flames. Hard to turn...
Tooling?? Yamaha hasnt bought a tool since 2007! The fact that yamaha thinks the viper is a sucess just shows that they will talk themselves right out of the market thinking the only way to make money is to outsource their chassis. I own a 09 nytro and it has not been a good experience to say...
Yamaha pretty much has zero interest in budget riders or people that cant spend 10k to ride. Proof is in a 2014 phazer that has a msrp of around 2k more than the 07 phazer with little to no upgrades done to it in 7 years. I would love a vector base with carb motor and no PS with a price point of...
I thought the same thing!!! Haha. The nytro is a finicky little brat and now you will have to adjust everything to the skis now. Its just the way it is. Just think about how smart you will be on understanding chassis adjustments when your done with a nytro.
As a nytro owner i would not recomend one. The seating on the apex and vector are pretty much a neutral between a rev and zx. I find the rev has too much "rider forward" in it and the apex is pretty close to perfect for long days of cruising. The weight of the apex is not gonna be an issue...
I respect your loyalty and im kinda in the same boat but like others have said it will bite you in the end. The reality is its just a job to them. I have stood along the side of a lot of racetracks for years rooting for the ghostrider that wears blue. I feel really foolish now.
Sorry there is no flicking a nytro around in the tight and twisties. Its more like hog wrestling and i can run with xp's but after 200 miles i just get wore out and if you try to relax a tad and not give it 100% its not gonna turn period while clipping along at a good pace. Buying a nytro you...
Try starting it warm. If you really have give the cord a good rip to get started i would think its the stator. Mine went out my 97. It also was down on power and didnt run very good.
I have been completely underwhelmed with my nytro other than the motor and contemplated my next sled a cat but for some reason my loyalty sickness is kicking in and i find no interest in the viper or a cat anymore. If they wany my money in the future they better figure out how to build their own...
