Just found out that my ECU got smoked from a wire rubbing on my motor mount on my 2008 Nytro MTX 153. The ECU goes for $700 retail. The part number is 8HA-8591A-00-00. This number only shows for the MTX. I have found a few good used ones online from dismantlers for $200-250. The problem is that the part number for these used ones is 8GL-8591A-00-00 which shows that it fits the 08 XTX and RTX. My question is to anyone in the know, will this 8GL number work in place of the 8HA number on my MTX. I don't see what the difference would be. I hate to buy it and not have it work and on the flip side I hate to spend $700 if I don't need to. Any help here would be appreciated.
