i have a 2014 viper just purchased. rode around the yard and everything was
fine then had a p0562 code tried to jump start with it no luck so i put in a new die hard tx20hl battery and now no power at all. changed the battery fuse and it blows within 5 seconds. any idea what could be causing this.

Don't have the battery leads reversed, do you? Just mentioning this as some aftermarket batteries fit, size-wise, but their terminals are reversed compared to the stock battery.

they are correct, the previous owner had it set up for an aftermarket battery. it ran fine in the garage and had it up to temp. something is causing the battery fuse to blow. going to change out the starter relay that mounts on the battery, for $30 can rule it out.
