Do '08 Nytro's have an issue with the cooling fan not coming on? If so what is the typical issue?

They typically do not fail very often from what I have seen. If they do not come on I would suspect a relay or a fuse or loose connection before a fan failure. Can you tell us a little more about the problem?

I had a similar issue and it ended up being the relay in the nose of the sled. MS

Sled runs fine and stays within operating temp when moving but as soon as I stop for 30 seconds or more it overheats and I get the wanring code on the dash display and it nearly shuts down. I have to get it moving to bring the temp down and it is ususally chugging along like its in ignition interruption mode until the temp gets back down to operatoing range and then it runs fine. I dont see or hear the fan running at all when stopped.
