Here's a link to an interesting podcast that was posted up today. It's an interview with two former Yamaha employee's (Jim Kedinger and Greg Marier) that has a lot of information about Yamaha's past sleds, racing programs, their decision to build 4-stroke sleds and turbo development, and their current relationship with Arctic Cat. FYI...There's music that plays for the first 1.5 min. but you can fast forward to the interview.

This should create some interesting comments from the peanut gallery.

Back in those days.. it was great to have any brand of sled. We also had long winters from Nov to March in WI.

250000 sled sales a year. Wow! Kinda sobering hearing it from those guys. Yamaha sure had great names involved. Really cool listen. Thanks VX1

I would like to hear more about the last Nytro 6 port snow cross engine.

This must be why the Nytro cross-country sleds were sold with no engine.
