I cant believe they messed with this. This may just be the reason behind alot of the trouble people are having with clutches. Very dissappointed since once again they messed with a proven system. Who cares if its noisy and rattles. So does a Ducati!

2015 Primary has a O-ring in the pad. Previous primaries did not. It was a loose fit. Why?

Previous Versions. Looked at Apex and Phazer this is how they are or were.

Didn't that o ring get added mid Nytro production like around 2010?

Allen mentioned this yesterday when we were discussing my clutches. Explains my drag, but I think the 2014's did as well.

I know my Viper "sticks" in place with no spring pressure/cap removed. My 2010 Nytro is the same..

The o-rigged slider also turn a little bit wich seem to make the clutch harder to open/close. I always reposition them when I open the cover.

So you guys don't see this as causing it to stick especially if dirty? It's very noticeable the difference when compared to other primaries I have.

These have been is use for a while, same as my 2011 apex. Never a problem on that sled.

I am running a older Nytro clutch on my Viper which has been cut for overdrive.
and it does not stick at all. But guess what, it still will not run on top end.

Are you stock motor? What is wrong with that speed?
Because a Vector will drive by me on top end and 90 mph on a hard packed trail is slow. How can it pull hard to 80, creep to 90
and then just stop, the rpm's are still at 8950-9000. Plus I am running the Hindle power up kit and Ulmer overdrive clutches with a 8dn belt, modified air box with pcv. I have tried Ulmers clutch kit and clutching on the cheap.

When my sled was brand new, under 30 miles on, did 94 on 1" of hard wind blown snow on good ice.

104 on ice is pretty good imo.. Have you talked with Allen at all about your setup? I'm sure he could help you out.

Got it. I didnt know you were modded. Yes I think 90mph on hardpack is slow. I am in almost same boat. Next stupid question. Are you sure it was a Vector and not a Apex that drove right by you?
