Hey guys, I just wanted to say I picked up a set of brand new Tuner take off's at a great price $120 all set up. I took them for a spin with someone on back, I didn't get to really rip it up but I was AMAZED at the difference. Fixed my darting problem, even on really icy hard packed trails. I was just wondering what some others are using for set up's? I have just round bar on the inside and what looks like 2 inch on the outside. They came of a XTX 1.75. Im just wondering in case I notice im not grabbing like i want to in the turns at high speed.

I'm running 4 and 4 with 5/8 toe out.

Im running 4 inside and 2 outside with good results. Your longer carbide should be on the inside by the way

I'm running 6 and 2, I noticed the round bar wore way to fast, need some carbide on that bar

Im running the same. 6" square on inside, and 2" round on outside. And yes, my square looks mint, and the round is ready for replacement.

Improvement was awesome. But steering got quite a bit heavier, but I like it.

tunners

I just rode 600 miles with 4 and 6 inch shaper bars . Have been running curves and am going back to the curves . The tunners are great on my apex but push on the nitro. When the trails are tight in the morning they are great but on a loose trail they push. I just did not feel comfortable going into the corner as with curves the harder you run the better they are . Not saying they are a bad ski just not for me on my nitro.

I run 4-4, rails good for me on any conditions.

I am actually running the carbide on the inside, sorry I forgot and had to go look again. I will keep an eye on the round bar and see how it holds up, but Im thinking I will end up going with a 4 and 2 or 6 and 2, but for this season I will keep it the way it is unless conditions make me change. This is my first experience with duel runner skis, and really with any sled other than a utility sled. Im def not going back, loving my nytro just gotta keep making it my own.

Thanks for all the help

tuners

1st Yammie for me so can't compare but....

I'm runnin' oem tuners on my 2013 Nytro shorty.
Studded Ripsaw2 track 132 up the middle trail riding.

I initially ran 4in rd Woodys inside and the oem 2in carbides out. Worked well when everything was new but as soon as the carbides wore in it pushed and wasn't enough.

Went to 6in Woodys rd inside and 2in oem out and she works way better.....on hardpack conditions it doesnt push at all, doesnt dart and handles very well. Higher steering effort fer sure but it works well.

I find the tuners work great on hardpack...they push and don't have a deep enough keel in loose snow tho.

I heard they are coming out with a deeper keel version next yr?? Hope so..they need it.

If I were riding in loose snow or off trail I would run an aftermarket ski.
Trail riding hard pack the tuners are Great! ;)!
