I just arrived in Brimley, Big Mac was closed for several hours due to falling ice and had to wait it out, or would have rode before dark. I will go out in the am to see how they are, they say lots of trees down and wet areas, came up to get away for a few days, may or may not get much riding in but I will let you know. They have had power outages up here and for a few days not no internet or cable. Using my phone hotspot right now. Well down to the casino and make a donation.

Things have improved and hats off to the workers. They have been using front end loaders to push back the thousands of damaged trees. Trailered over and rode from Seney to Grand Marais yesterday, trails busy and very bumpy as yesterday was above freezing so no grooming until late yesterday. Riding Brimley today, rode to Hulbert and Trout Lake. Trails need grooming all over however that is due to they cant cut trees and groom. Have ridden 400 miles so far, considering the mess that was here when I arrived on the 1st it is fair conditions. Still a mess between Brimley and the Soo. Sure hope things are good next week for the fun ride. So looking forward to getting there Thursday night.
